These two dresses were awaiting closures for a short time - so I thought I'd better show you the "finished goods".
Oliver+s Ice-cream dress made with my material winnings from Amy at Badskirt.
It should be noted that Miss G did her own accessorising here, and automatically turned for me to take a shot of the rear view without being asked!
(note to self - am I taking too many 'modelling my new clothes'-style pics of the children...)
I have to say I agree with Sheridan's summation of two-year-olds.
And of course the Village Frock, all buttoned up.
Despite what I thought would happen ("it's not very pink or twirly, I don't know if I like it"), she LOVES this dress.
Phew!
Self-covered buttons in red - what you guys voted for.
They're actually done in the fabric that makes up the yoke and hem panel in the Ice-cream dress.
I want her to wear this every day.
Stay tuned in the next day or two for a 'bathers' post.
Yep, I tackled lycra swimwear! (and I think I won...)
PS - there was a sneak peek in yesterday's post...

I love the Village Frock - I am so dissappointed I did not get this pattern when I had the chance. It will look great in winter teamed with tights and boots. You have your girls so well trained - Ella just runs away now when I get the camera out.
Lovely. I like the ruching.
They are so sweet, both of them. That village frock would be awesome in a woman's size.
Lovely
That village frock looks wonderful on her :) Very nice!
Both just gorgeous Karen - nice to see them finished ;-)
My girls automatically turn around for a back photo too....
All the gathering on the village dress was SO worth it!
Yay for funny two year olds!!
Gorgeous dresses and gorgeous girls!
That litle Miss G is a natural (who is looking remarkably more like you these days!). Love the dresses - and so happy to see those red buttons on the finished village frock. :)
They are both gorgeous (dresses and models!) I really love the village frock.
look at your gorgeous little posers! Love those frcks- I spy a pear! So glad she loves the denim despite lack of pinkness
How cute is that vintage frock - I want one in my size:)
I love the ice cream dress, the accessories look great!
Love both dresses so much. Gorgeous. The blue one is extra special though. So unique. So much style. I'd wear it every day if I could.
Hi there, I love this little Village Frock, can you tell me who it is by, I would love to give this a go! Looks sensational.
