It's a safari!!

I know that the new curtains for our baby's room will not be to everyone's taste - but I LOOOOVE them!!

Even my husband described them as "not very subtle are they - but I think I like them!"

Here's the very dodgy and boring before shot - curtains that were hung temporarily having been made for windows much smaller than these.


And here are the new giraffes and dots.



It's a Sprout fabric that I bought from Patchwork on Central Park in Malvern and I have coordinating fabrics as shown in my previous posts for canvases and cushions and maybe a quilt of some sort.


Now just to get the furniture in and all the little bits and pieces in place, then I'll post the entire picture.

(PS excuse how dark the pic is - it's a wet and dreary day here in Melbourne)

Karen they look great and not too bright at all - sometimes I think that babies rooms look a little too dull! Cant wait to see the basinette filled!
