For the last few years I have considered joining in at Elsie Marley when the Kids Clothes Week Challenge is on but have not for various reasons.
Well this year I am in.
I had thought you had to try and make a garment a day for a week and thought that was too much.
Then I saw Wendy's post a few weeks back and it made me realise you just have to commit to SEWING (or tracing, cutting, pinning etc) for an hour a day.
Our girls are in need of a few new things as they have got so tall, so I am thinking that I will get into some basic long-sleeved T's, some denim skirts and a few nighties.
Nothing very exciting, or super-pretty like making summer dresses - but necessary all the same.
Lara and I had a lovely time on Wednesday night flicking through my Ottobre collection ear-marking things we both want to make for our girls.
It made us both realise that there are heaps of great patterns right there at our fingertips.
So join in if you think you can set aside an hour each day (or night!). By the end of the week you should have a little something to show for your work.

I'm in too and aiming to get the Finch shorts done. I might have to make them in size 7 for summer but they have been on the wish list for awhile. I can't wait to see what you make
Karen, TG for me that can include unpicking too ;-)
Im joining in for the first time too this year - I like the idea of just committing an hour and seeing what you can get done. Hope you get lots done :) Amanda
