The time had come...

For the smallest kid to have her first 'on her own' sewing lesson.
After all she is three-and-a-half years old now!

She did, of course, have two very willing helpers to steer her in the right direction.

I put the machine on a low table so she can better control the speed with the foot pedal.

It requires great concentration...

And advice from the helpers to get the job done.

She drew lines on the paper to follow like her sisters, but then disregarded them completely in favour of some novelty patterns such as honeycomb and arrows.

A little help was needed cutting the threads.

But the first stitch she wanted to do...
You guessed it, little dogs!

you know you're raising a 'fashion house' of 3! dibs on being first to buy shares in the company!

LOL, That's brilliant. My 4 year old has been itching to get to the machine. I might have to give him a go...

WOW! Fancy pancy machine :)
Love love love the fabric stash in the back ground. Marvellous.

Best of all is the sisterly team work. Gotta love that. Brilliant :)

They all look so very serious there. Have you considered where you are going to have the room for three more sewing enthusiasts and their stashes?

gotta do that with my girls- only fear is that I would never get near the machine ever again!
