Take your marks...

At Sew It Together a number of us (ahem, well most of us really) grabbed a scrap pack from the wonderful Prints Charming studios.

We hoped to create a gorgeous skirt using these scraps and the book "Sew What Skirts".

If you'd like to join in, using whatever fabric you like, perhaps including some of your own favorite scraps, then gather your supplies and let's have ourselves a sewalong.

Sounds like fun! I have Sew What Skirts. Which skirt are you planning to make?

Oh bum, I haven't gotten the book yet! Will have to do something about that....

I'm in! Of course! Plenty more Prints Charming pieces in my stash that need to become a skirt....

I might have to join in just without the prints charming fabric.

Can anyone do this Karen or just SIT participants?

Yay Karen! I've got the book sitting right here in front of me. Can't wait! It's been so long since I've sewn something 'normal' for myself to wear, not something retro!

Scrap packs ordered from Prints Charming and book ordered from Fishpond today... I might be a late starter but I will be there!

sounding pleasingly like you might make something for yourself!

I'll give it a go. I actually bought the book online last week, waiting for it to arrive. When/how does this work?

Sounds interesting - will follow with interest. The get together craft gathering sounds good too. We enjoy our group in Ballarat. Looking forward to Sewjourn

I love sewing! I wish I had more time. I actually get paid to sew for the high school marching band, but I never have time for my own projects. Maybe if I sleep less...

I'm in! Might take me a few weeks, but I'm going to do this! I'll use my own pattern though.
