Inspired by these ladies I am going to make something for myself.... soon....
I just need to finish off a few other items that are cut and ready to go...
And definitely decide what to do with the lovely Japanese cotton I picked up at The Cloth Shop this week...
And wash that other stuff I got at Lincraft...
Oh and fold the washing...
and put some more on...
There are lots of more decided folk over at Kirsty's place, maybe you should just check them out...
Oh the Sew Liberated stuff looks terrific! One day I might try it too, after all those other things... my washing is on too... lol
ReplyDeleteOh hooray. I can't wait to see your finished "you" garment.
ReplyDeleteOh, gorgeous fabric! I'm so jealous, I want to make a Love dress bad.
ReplyDeleteThat would look gorgeous made up Karen!
ReplyDeleteP.S.) I have learnt that the washing can wait - I usually do 1-2 loads a day but if I want to sew, something has to give!
I have that pattern and a half finished garment to go with it. I started before we went away when I was on my sewing roll. Must get back to it.
ReplyDeleteOh that darned washing .... it puts such a dampener on everything!
ReplyDeleteI think your fabric is gorgeous. Look forward to seeing it made up. (I am a bit of a fan of The Cloth Shop - I could spend a good hour or two in there ... er, if it weren't for the marauding children)
I have bought a few patterns I want to sew for myself, one day, soon, I hope!
