While not strictly for her, I knew she would appreciate some pants because she is always after something original for her little man.

I used the same Burda pattern 9717 - that I use for all the girls pants and PJ's and the patches are an idea I've seen a few places, including recently on Xiola's blog.
The guitar fabric is good old Michael Miller I got from the lovely girls at The Humming Mini shop.
The cord looks lighter than it is in the first pic - it's a lovely deep chocolate brown wide wale cord from Spotlight.
It was nice to do some boy sewing for a change, and to sew something quite small again.

Really cute! I have some chocolate cord too and I want to sew pants for DS with them.
I'm sure he'll love them - they're very cute. The patches are a nice personal touch, aren't they.
cute!!!!!! I worry about sewing for boys and think it just needs imagination and a bit of boy fabric
