Dortjes... done!

Kinder dacks all finished.

These were lovely to make - the pattern is very easy and explains everything well if you aven't done pockets before.

I'd never done a faux fly and it was really simple, so don't be put off by any of the elements involved.

The girls wore them the day I finished for a walk in the rain and gave them the thumbs up!

The good news is that the dress-mad one even wore them to kinder today, she changed into a dress about 2 minutes after getting home, but she wore them with no fuss or bother.
A victory, I think.

I didn't mention previously that all the fabric from this (Purple cord, purple floral cord and red floral poplin) was from Spotlight. So if you're an Aussie and want some that's where to find it.

There was someone else who wanted in when I was photographing the back of the pants - can you notice her so unobtrusively sidling into the picture there!!

Excuse the dull pics - it's been a dreary few days here in Melbourne.

Not dull at all with those snazzy, bright & beautiful pants!! Nice work, is there another little pair on the way for the sweetie on the right? x

Love the pants Karen! I think I'll have to make some for my little miss. I saw that fabric in SL yesterday and almost bought some, might have to go back as it looks great made up.

fantastic pants Karen!
I think Spotlight is finally getting some decent fabrics in. Noticed they have a better selection as of late.

Those pants are gorgeous! I love the fabric! Noah & Liam try to edge into each others photos all the time. The limelight MUST be shared!

Don't they look smart in their (almost) matching pants! And I love the one of Miss G trying to get in the photo.

Well, if you say thumbs up for the pattern, then I certainly will have to try it someday. Munchkins has like a gazillion pants/jeans already so it's not high on my list of things to sew for her but I will definitely like to try it someday.
