We've been enjoying some of life's simple pleasures the past week of school holidays...
- Sunshine and the great outdoors (at last!!)
- Playing hide and seek at the park with squeals of delight (yep, sometimes mine)
- Learning (and teaching) the art of the daisy chain
- Spending time (though never enough) with lovely friends
- Visiting the library and browsing the books with no time limit
- Painting small fingernails in sparkly colours
- Seeing a movie that brings back childhood memories
What 'Simple Pleasures' have you been indulging in??

Special times. We've been playground hunting and stayting up late and sleeping in and lazing in PJs.
you saw Tanya! Say hello from me when you see her again!
Ive been knitting! thats my simple pleasure- and listening to the kids ignite their imagination!
I love your list!
Today, I sipped coffee and read magazines for over an hour. Indulgence in ME!
Reading! I had a few days away over the weekend and I got to read the newspaper, a mag and a book that has been sitting on my bed side table for months. It was bliss :)
I have been spending time with lovely friends too :)...but you're right, never long enough. Tonight the kids and I rode around the block (6 1/2 km) we rang the neighbours kids (they are nearly 1km away) to see if they wanted to join us, and 2 of them did, so we were a gang of 5 and twilight, watching the sun go down as we rode on our gravel roads and saw no cars.
We saw the Smurfs too! I have enjoyed these school holidays.
