My Creative Space

First one back for 2010 and surprise, surprise I am sewing kids clothing!

I'm hoping to turn this pile of ric rac, Heather Ross's Mendocino mermaids, Patty Young's Hummingbirds and some dots into two short-sleeved versions of the Nina pattern shown below.

This is a simple but quite versatile pattern, I've already seen a few lovely versions of the sleeveless top shown on the front here and here.

Head on over to Kirsty's place to see what's on everyone else's creative plate this week.

I have this pattern on the top of my pile, but am trying to clear the WIP pile before starting :(

They are going to be lovely in those fabrics that's for sure! I'm looking forward to seeing the short sleeved version, I haven't had a go at that one yet. Good luck for the big day tomorrow. Your girls look so gorgeous in that back pack photo. The backpacks look pretty awesome too. What a rambly comment...one last thing...I forwarded my Mum your gorgeous email about her review and she was thrilled. XX

looking forward to seeing it all together - amazing that as Mum's we always do things for the kids first - I really loved Carolyn's challenge for that this month:)

Not sure what I like the most, the pattern or the fabrics. Really nice!
