A touch of Spain

Plain long-sleeved T's are practical for everyday play but pretty boring to look at.

I 'prettied' these two up using some of my Andalucia ribbon and some ric rack and some appliqued pieces of Andalucia Mod Blooms fabric.
Big hits with the three-year-old crowd at my place.(Please excuse the post-dinner spots, I no sooner wash these than they are back on again, so hard to get a pic of them clean!)

If you want to pick up some ribbon for yourself, drop in at Little Munchkins. Different prints but every bit as lovely.

They look great Karen... even with the post-dinner spots!

Great use of the Andalucia ribbon. I still can't bear to use mine...I need to be brave I think and actually cut it up and use it!

I love the way you have used the ribbon, especially the one with the ric rac, just gorgeous! I'm with Novy, I can't bear the thought of cutting into mine yet....

really REALLY cute tees Karen! love the ribbon but it's the applique and ric ric you've added that have turned them into something special, not just a tee with something stuck on the front.

love it!

Those tops look great! I wish my daughter would wear things I made her... Thanks for visiting my blog and giving me some tips on where to go in Melbourne.

These are so cute Karen. Its such a nice way to dress up a plain tee. I am glad your girls like them. Its rewarding when you make something they won't take off :)
