Plotting and planning

My husband says I am strange.

But surely I am not the only one who lies awake working out which of the pile of new patterns they bought from Crafty Mama's they will try first;

or what project to make with the stack of gorgeous coordinates from the Andalucia range by Patty Young that their mum (and dad, but let's face it, this was mum's doing!) bought them for their birthday;

or which of the projects currently underway will be set aside in order to dive into this Joel Dewberry Ginseng fabric from Amitie destined to be 2+2 blouses from Oliver +s.

and surely thoughts of making up this gorgeous top from Ottobre with some sweet Amy Butler fabric would be enough to make anyone toss and turn just a little...

I am normal aren't I??

Completely normal! I am the same, lol.

You will have to let me know how you go with the O + S tunic top and shorts pattern, I have been eyeing that one off for a while for Miss M . . . now which fabric to use.

And the Patty Young fabrics are GORGEOUS!

I think all of us sewing girls will find it normal...non sewing friends on the other hand?

I love the Oliver and S tunic top and shorts too. I can't wait to see all of that fabric turn into some lovely things.

ummm, yes, I do this too! I am making that Ottobre top as well (well, I hope to!) and had a hard time getting to sleep one night in the last week or so wondering what fabric to use.

Oh, Karen, totally normal! Just last night, I lay awake working out a cable on my glove in my mind - and the fabric! And the patterns!!

Happy Birthday, by the way! Many happy returns! :o)

Definitely normal. I always find I take forever to find a fabric combination I am happy with.

Love those fabrics by the way.

I love the Andalucia stuff too - still can't decide which one I am going to turn into a stroller liner for our little travel pram before we go o/s. I was thinking the white one with spots, but seeing this makes me like the orange with the pink daisies. Oh so inspiring!
