While their birthday, celebrated three weeks and one day ago, is also very important - I always remember the day we were actually able to leave the hospital and bring the girls with us as the first day we both really felt like they were ours.
That's not to say the nurses and doctors who cared for them in the Special Care Nursery weren't great - they were wonderful caring people, it's just that having the babies under our roof was a huge milestone.
We sat on the couch and each held one in our arms and just gazed at them sleeping for a while as we figured out what to do next!
So happy third homecoming my beautiful girls.

Gorgeous Photos and Extra Gorgeous Girls. Thankyou for sharing these with us. It is special when you are able to bring your baby home (I can remember felling the same with Amelia - she was 16 days old before we could take her home!) And am hearing you on the sitting there looking at them - I did the same thing this time too!
Oh my goodness Karen, those babies look so super duper little! Its hard to believe our bubs were so little once.
Almost makes me long for twins...almost! They were such cute babies and now they are adorable girls. Happy three years at home :)
